I'm having the same problem. My ignightor keep clicking away but the fridge runs a normal cycle. Do I need a new board or if ignightor?

I will look into the recall . I need to go back to the camper and look at the serial # at least the fridge and freezer is cold.
Edit: it's model 2551 , not In the recall . I will try and see if I can swap the board to see if it's failing. My neighbor said he had a working spare. Thanks for the info :-)

ps: the gas is full and the. Batteries are fully charged. All connections have been cleaned. :-(.

Dometic fridge ignitor keeps trying to light
hi guys, I'm on the road now camping. My fridge works perfect but when I'm running on gas the ignightor keeps clicking away . There is a good flame that I can see allready. Does anyone know what part it is? I'm thinking it's the thermocoupling . When the temp of the fridge reaches cold the ignightor stops clicking away and the flame goes out untill the next cycle.

how long was the trailer? Seems like you got a good $$ for it.
I decided rather than store my trailer for another winter, I would sell it and get something smaller (hybrid) next year. I thought I would post my first experience selling a trailer.
I posted the ad on Craigslist. I started at $5500. I ended up getting an offer for $5000 a week later and I took it. I had 2 serious buyers and about 7 phone calls and more appointments to see it. The first buyer backed out after he saw I had a small puppy and asked if the puppy went camping with us. I believe his son was allergic to dogs.
The 2nd buyer saw it, then stood me up the next day with not even a phone call. I was pretty upset but he actually ended up coming the next day and bought it. He left a $100 deposit brought the rest when he picked it up.
Here is the weird part. The person that bought it seemed inexperienced. I actually showed him everything and how it all worked from opening the awning to turning on the water heater. I even got a ladder so he could see the condition of the roof etc.
All in all it was a great experience selling it to a family that is new to camping. I will be stopping by to help them winterize it and will also help on their first trip if it is local. The process took one week because I think it was priced right.
Now I am looking for a hybrid with the pop out beds on both sides. I realized I did not need something this big (27ft) after 2 years. I'm sharing this just to give an idea what to expect if selling...

I think there is an adjustment to turn the flame down. Maybe try that. Mine has a small brass knob 1/8" maybe. If you turn it you can see the flame rise or get smaller.

is anyone worried about buying now?
Hey guys and gals. Is anyone worried about buying with the economy the way it is now? Most trailer sales places here dont even seem like they care if they sell a leftover trailer or not. I would think they would want move some inventory.

Do not use bleach until you are sure all the anti freeze is flushed out. Bleach will do nothing but mask any remaining glycol.

We are going on 4 hour trip on monday. I just saw Gas at Mobile jump from 3.69 to 4.19 just like that. I hope it stays under 5.00 a gallon. I have been planning this trip for 6 + months... At least my generator runs for 12hours per gallon haha
Ohh well whar can we all do that like to camp. But suck it up.
